This spicy concoction will pair deliciously with the crisp Firecracker White Blend.
1 package shrimp, deveined
and tail removed
2 carrots, thinly sliced
1 bunch cilantro, minced
1 bunch mint, minced
Add 1 quart of water to a sauce pan and 1 TBLS of salt, bring to a boil. Add shrimp and cook approximately 2 minutes, the shrimp should be pink, white and firm but not rubbery. Drain shrimp and run under cold water. Cut the shrimp in half length wise. Place a sheet of rice paper into a large bowl of water and let soak until tender.
To assemble the wrap lay the RICE PAPER wrapper out on a flat surface Using about a teaspoon of sauce evenly spread sauce on RICE PAPER wrapper. Layer in 2-3 shrimp, carrots, noodles and herbs. Wrap like a burrito and enjoy with a glass of Firecracker White Blend. Optional, lightly fry the wraps in a deep pan with vegetable oil.
